SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping Policy

Our processing time is usually 2-3 days, and are shipped Monday through Friday not including holidays and weekends.

During the holiday season it can be up to 6 days. If you have a question about current times, email us at info@blackmermaidsoaps.com.

We ship via UPS, DHL, or USPS.

  • Ground shipping takes around 4 days to deliver in the US from our Atlanta, GA homebase. 

Restrictions on Air Shipping

Restricted items include various products we carry, due to air transport restrictions and regulations, these items are required by the U.S. Department of Transportation to be shipped by Standard Ground Shipping only. These restricted items are not eligible for Premium or Overnight Shipping. Due to the number and variation of these items we do not offer Overnight or Premium shipping by default. It is only available if specifically requested, at which point we will review your order to see if it qualifies and provide a quote. This premium shipping can routinely cost five to ten times the regular ground shipping.

Carriers

Black Mermaid may also use a freight carrier if your order requires it. Quotes will be provided before shipping in this case.

International Shipping

We welcome our international customers.  We currently ship to Bahamas, Canada, Cost Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Mexico. If you would like us to ship to your country and it is not listed contact us at info@blackmermaidsoaps.com.

Note that when shipping internationally, your country's customs process can add days or weeks to receiving your shipment. We have NO control over your customs process. Additionally, your country will often add taxes, duties and fees ABOVE AND BEYOND our shipping rates. Every country is different.

Return & Exchange Policy

We are happy to process a refund for products purchased, with some restrictions.  Please note we cannot accept any opened or used items for returns.  Eligible items must be unused and in saleable condition.  Because we guarantee the safety and purity of our material, we can’t accept returns on any bulk items.

 

If you want to return an item, please call us at 404.907.3858 or email us at info@blackmermaidsoaps.com within 5 business days for a resolution or a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). 

We cannot accept returns without prior authorization. All unsolicited products will not be refunded or returned.

 

All refunds for the product price are applied to the original method of payment. Original and return shipping costs, associated fees, duties, and taxes will not be refunded. We recommended insuring the return and getting the tracking information.

Please allow us 10 business days to process returns.

Restrictions:

  1. Returns are only accepted within 5 business days of the initial order

  2. We cannot control storage conditions, and therefore cannot guarantee shelf life. (Shelf life can vary depending on storage conditions.)

  3. All products must be returned in saleable condition. Partially used products or items with the seal broken  will not be credited. If we do not receive the merchandise or if it is damaged, we will not issue a refund or credit.

  4. Keep the tracking number of any returns, returns lost or damaged will not be processed

  5. Shipping (both ways) is the responsibility of the customer

Products purchased through a Black Mermaid/Poseidon Men authorized retailer, must be returned to the store or spa where it was purchased. Return policies will vary by vendor.
